Casting
Casting is currently open for Silence & Bells, a fine art fantasy book series told through writing, film photography, and original music. This project combines literary fantasy with staged fine art photography. The images are not meant to function as standard portfolio shoots. They are character-based, sculptural, and tied to the world of the book. Selected shoots may involve custom armor, wardrobe, prosthetics, fantasy styling, and nature-based or celestial visual concepts.
What I’m Looking For
I am looking for models with strong body awareness, expressive movement, and the ability to hold intentional poses. The visual direction is fine art fantasy, but the posing needs to feel more elevated than standard beauty or editorial work. I am especially interested in dynamic posing, stoic expression, sculptural body language, and a strong physical presence on camera. Dance, movement, theater, figure modeling, athletic background, or experience with character-based work is helpful, but not required.
Auditions / Test Sessions
Auditions are paid. Travel costs are covered when applicable. Models are not expected to pay out of pocket to be considered for the project. The audition process is a focused creative session to see how a model photographs within the world of the book, how their movement fits the visual direction, and whether the collaboration makes sense for both sides.
Project Direction
The work is rooted in fantasy, nature, celestial imagery, armor, ritual, silence, grief, devotion, and transformation. The final images are intended to support the book series as fine art companions to the written world. The project is being developed through film photography, writing, and original music.
